★ How to maintain the battery?

1. If fully charged, it must be used once or twice within a month, discharge at least 80% and then charge back to full capacity
2. If it is not fully charged (such as 70% power), the board can be used once or twicein 30-40 days, discharge and then charge
Repeat that process if the board is to stay unused

When the battery goes down to1 bar, you need to charge the skateboard. If the skateboard is not working, keep at 2-3 bars.

All modern electric skateboards run on lithium batteries. These type batteries offer a significant amount of storage and discharge rate in a very small package. Good care is crucial to extending the battery’s life span and ensuring that it continues to perform. Keep in mind this is not unique to Ecomobl’s boards but would apply to all consumer electronics running on lithium batteries.

★ Do not completely discharge or overcharge

Over charging / discharging will cause permanent damage to your battery!

Each battery pack comes with a Battery Management System (BMS) that helps avoid over charging / discharge. There are however scenarios that will still cause an over charge / discharge to occur.

★ Over Charging – As the board operates on regenerative braking, avoid intense braking (such as braking downhill) when the battery is fully charged. This can cause the BMS to temporarily shut off the board to prevent overcharge.

★ Over Discharge – Avoid running the board’s battery to empty. If you do,charge it back up to 70% as soon as possible. Never store a full discharged board for an extended period of time.

Avoid extreme temperatures

★ Batteries operate best between 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C) ambient temperatures.

★ They should be stored between -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C).

Keep the battery at 70% charge for long term storage

Never store a board fully charged or fully discharged.

A battery could fall into a deep discharge state when stored fully discharged. This will render it incapable of holding a charge.

A battery stored fully charged will lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life.

★ How to maintain the motor?

Generally, after using the skateboard for 6 months or riding for 500 kilometers, you need to clean the old grease. Grease requirements: -20℃-120℃. -20℃ low temperature can prevent grease freezing when the over low temperature inwinter; 120℃ high temperature can prevent grease turning into water, which caneasily cause a fire.

Do not clean the skateboard directly immersed in water, and do not use gasoline, alcohol, kerosene and other corrosive or volatile chemical solvents to scrub the skateboard.

Ecomobl boards are off road boards and take quite a bit of vibration when used in their natural environment. Check your bolts and screws regularly to see if they are loose. It will save you headaches down the road. If you follow up by being great owners, these boards would serve us for a long time.

If there is a problem with the product during the warranty period (not artificial damage, the product has not been dismantled and modified), we will teach you how to deal with the product problem, and send you related accessories for free, until the problem is solved for you. Please note that we only send battery, esc or motors once during your warranty.

2. Warranty content: ESC, MOTOR and BATTERY. (Water damage is out of warranty.)

3. Standard Warranty: time: 6 months.

4. Please contact us and we will negotiate with you and find a way to please everyone.

5. General Exclusions – the following items are excluded from warranty:

• Damage or loss sustained during shipping – we can offer shipping insurance if you wish to mitigate this risk, but you need tell us and pay insurance fee.
• Electronic damage caused by water ingress into the board.
• Removal or tampering of warranty stickers and water damage sticker.
• Damage caused by accidents or collisions.
• Unauthorized modification or repairs.
• Taking the board beyond its limitations.
• General wear and tear such as scratches and dents sustained in the general course of riding.
• Exclusion Relating To Jumping.

6. If any issue occurs, you must cooperate with ecomobl board in good faith and first attempt to identify and fix any problem with ecomobl board instruction. Such instruction may be provided in person, via email (services@ecomobl.com). If a problem is fixed this way, the warranty claim is considered settled. When requested, you must provide ecomobl board with photos, videos or any other forms of evidence for assessment of warranty claims. ecomobl board cannot validate any warranty claims or provide replacement parts unless you have cooperated as per above.
